    • Also I soldered a little because I had to connect some wires
    • Another thing I did was I hot glued the LED’s to my box

Today in Greenfab we worked on on transferring sound trough laser. The first step was to solder two wires to an audio jack. After which  we solder together a transformer, LED light, and batter pack together. Once we were done with those two steps we solder together the audio jack to a solar panel. After this we pointed the LED light on the solar panel for it to make sound. The activity was pretty fun. When I came back from lunch I began to put together my final project.

Today in Greenfab we worked on building mixers. The material we need that for that in clouded a bread board, 5 led, wires, Aarduino, 2 switch, alligator clips, speaker, potentiometers, 5 resistors and 10k resistors. The first step was to connect the leds to the bread board. After which we plugged the resistors on the other side of the board. Once we had it all wired up we hooked MW up to the speakers and started to make different noise. Following lunch we went on trip touring battery park. The purpose of the trip was to show and point out the green features in the park.

My project is a solar powered table.  This table charges usb devices using energy form the sun.  Today I soldered all of the solar cells together and cut out the top frame for my table.  I am curently working on bulding the sides of the table so it can stand on its own.  I also need to connect a 5.v regulator to it and the usb port.

    Blog,

Today at green fab it was a interesting day. Today at green fab i arrived early to green fab. Last week James told me that he was going to work more on my project that he was going to take it home with him. Whe I came to green fab Carlos told me that James was coming lae to green fab, so he told me that i had to work on my speach for thursday (5,20,2010) for my presentation. This is a copy of my speach,

My project’s name is The Amazing Talking Door.  I decided to create this project because I would like to add more functionality to the way doors are used.  I also wanted to show an example of how The Amazing Talking Door could be used in the future.  My project is simple, but in the future I’d like to invite engineers and inventors to work with me in continuing to develop my project,  and to assist me in convincing every store-owner to have one of my projects on their storefront.  I want to thank James for all the help he gave me.   If it was not for him I could not have done my project.

It was time for lunch and i went out side to play basketball with my class mate. When i came back from lunch time i started working on my project a little more because it had a little of a problem because people tuch it a lot. It was time to go home and that was it for the day at green fab 5,17,2010.
